New Aged Care Information & Data Platform in Australia

Posted on September 5, 2017 by 60+Club

A new one-stop shop for data and information about aged care services in Australia was launched recently in Canberra.

NARI Executive Director Associate Professor Briony Dow, who was part of the Aged Care Data Advisor Committee, was in Canberra for the launch by Minister Ken Wyatt.

“GEN is a user-friendly website which should be useful for service providers, researchers, students and the public who want information about aged care in Australia,” Dr Dow said.

Website topics include services and places in aged care, admissions into aged care, people’s care needs in aged care, and government spending on aged care.

Visit the new website at GEN-agedcaredata.gov.au.
